The late Jacques Drouin's Imprints, with its boldness and tonal freedom, is now considered a watershed in the history of the pinscreen animation. This screening will highlight the effervescence of this technique that followed Imprints through films made on the NFB's NEC pinscreen, the CNC's L'Épinette, and La bande vidéo's L'Alpine.
