Since this fall, six resident artistes, each accompanied by a mentor, have been developing an animated film project within the Cinémathèque. David Seitz, Claire Brognez (Quebec), Alice Lahourcade, Clémence Bouchereau (France), Naomi van Niekerk (South Africa) and Ana Chubinidze (Georgia) present the outcome of their work. The Cinémathèque's mentored animation residency program is organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of France, the National Film Board of Canada and patrons Jean-Philippe Fauteux and Marthe Cousineau.
