This year, for the 23rd edition of the Sommets du cinéma d'animation, we’re giving a voice to tomorrow's film buffs with our call for applications for our Youth Jury.

We want to involve young viewers in the festival by giving them an opportunity to discover animated films in a fun and engaging way.

Who?
We're looking for four young people aged 6 to 8, who love animated films and want to take part in this unique experience.

When?
Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m., at the Cinémathèque québécoise.

The jury is invited to attend a screening of animated short films. At the end of the session, it’s time for voting and deliberation: Best film? Best character? The decision is theirs!

The results — along with their comments — will be revealed that same evening during the Sommets' official awards ceremony. A great way to highlight their perspective and critical thinking!

How to participate?
If your child loves animated films, invite them to join the youth jury!

To participate, just fill out the online form with the child’s first name, age, and a short sentence explaining why they love animated films.
