With only a few movies, Sean Buckelew has established himslef as a promissing creator. His work stands out with a great drawing creativity and a sardonic humour. Sean Buckelew will present his next three movies and talk about his decision to become an independant animation filmmaker in the U.S. He will also talk about the concepts he uses in his work. Sean Buckelew is an animation filmmaker living in California. He was born in Berkeley (CA) and received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from CalArts in Experimental Animation. He is a member of the online collective Late Night Work Club, co-host of the podcast Movie Buddies, and programmer/curator at the GLAS Animation Festival. - In collaboration with the U.S. Consulate General Montreal -
