50 years ago, filmmakers Robert Awad and André Leduc created L'affaire Bronswik, an animated documentary produced by the National Film Board of Canada, revealing the inner workings of a sinister plot that shook the entire world. In 1964, television manufacturer Bronswik had criminally concealed a device in its sets, manipulating viewers' brains to force them to make impulse purchases.
The event, conceived by animation historian John Harbour, will feature a poignant testimony by Vincent Zikkar, grandson of Bronswik victim Antonius Zikkar. Robert Awad and André Leduc will then answer John Harbour's questions after the screening of this explosive and courageous film.
